Off Buddhist Culture & Pristine Mountain Scenery
Bhutan is one of the loveliest and most exclusive of Himalayan destinations, open only to a limited number of visitors per year. It is perhaps the only underpopulated country in the developing world and is famous for its Buddhist culture and pristine mountain scenery. The result is a paradise of crystal mountain streams, thickly forested mountains and a holiday experience which is preserved for only a lucky few.

Visit the last Buddhist Kingdom in the world, on this fascinating discovery of Bhutan. The trip begins with a spectacular flight from Kathmandu to Paro where we will explore the historic Paro Valley including the Kyichu Temple dating back to the 7th Century, Drukgyel Dzong and the National Museum in the Ta-Dzong.

We will hike to the mystical Tiger’s Nest. Next we drive to the capital, Thimphu, where we visit the National Handicraft and Painting Emporium, the Zilukha Temple and Tashichhodzong. Experience the deeply religious culture of Bhutan. Watch colorful masked dances and interact with Buddhist monks, as they go about their daily lives, following ancient traditions and rituals. Our trip concludes with a return flight to Kathmandu.
